SURGERY HALF-DAY CLOSURES FOR TRAINING

The monthly half-day closures are for all staff members to convene for discussions, updates, and essential training sessions.

These dedicated sessions serve as invaluable opportunities for our team to come together, align on important matters, and enhance our skills and knowledge. Given the dynamic nature of clinical services and the ever-evolving healthcare landscape, staying updated and well-trained is paramount to ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

During these half-day closures, we address a range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Updates on best practices, protocols, and procedures.
  • Review of recent clinical developments and emerging trends.
  • Training sessions on new equipment, technologies, or software.
  • Discussions on patient feedback, areas for improvement, and shared learnings.

By gathering all staff members in one place during these sessions, we foster collaboration, promote open communication, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement. It’s a time when every team member has the opportunity to contribute, share insights, and actively participate in shaping the future of our practice.

We understand that these closures may occasionally inconvenience some patients, and for that, we sincerely apologise. However, we firmly believe that the long-term benefits of these sessions far outweigh any short-term disruptions. Ultimately, our goal is to enhance the quality of care we provide and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our surgery.
